Introduction of LER
Laboratory of Environment and Resources (LER), which was established in 2008, is a research group engaged in R&D of environmental pollution control and bioenergy conversion technologies. LER conducts a wide variety of research in the fields of anaerobic digestion, solid waste management, wastewater treatment, and flue gas denitrification. The group consists of 2 professors, 6 associate professors, 5 research assistants, and more than 30 master and doctor students.
LER has undertaken or is undertaking more 40 national and ministerial level scientific research projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation, the Major Science and Technology Program for Water Pollution Control and Treatment, and so on. The LER has published more than 200 papers, owns more than 80 patents, and has won several ministerial and provincial awards including one Second Class Prize of The State Scientific and Technological Progress Award.
